Regular Season Round 14: Derby - Mega BG 77-82

Rather predictable result in Podgorica where ninth ranked SerbianMega BG (8-6) defeated 12th ranked Montenegrin Derby (4-10) 82-77 on Saturday. Mega BG outrebounded Derby 45-32 including 34 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Bogoljub Markovic (210-2005) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Mihailo Petrovic (190-2003) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Mega BG players scored in double figures. Point guard Igor Drobnjak (188-2000) produced 19 points and American point guard Erick Neal (178-1995, college: UT Arlington) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Mega BG moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Spartak. Derby lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with ten games lost. They share it with Borac.
